Moving IN the Pull APART part 2

In the storms of LifeAlways seek to SEE the sONshineno matter what (6)

STILL sitting in my STORM, once again I miss the 2nd car that pulls up behind me and offers his help. This time it’s a Dad and his daughter who saw us as they were traveling 65N (on the opposite side of the interstate) and as they were headed back home saw us still there. He talks with my husband and tells him what he thinks it might be and that he could not leave us on that INTERSTATE and whatever he needed to do to get us off there, he would. I’m sitting in disbelief and all I can say is REALLY GOD?!?!

By now I’ve pulled out my pocket bible and began to flip through it. Verse after verse is SPEAKING into my situation, into my STORM.

1 Corinthians 9:24-27 You’re TRAINED for this, NOW ACT LIKE IT

24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

1 Corinthians 14:15 What WILL I do

15 So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my understanding; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my understanding.

7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the household of FAITH.

Ephesians 2:10 Who AM I

10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Ephesians 5:20-24 STOP ACTING OLD, Trust the NEW n YOU

20 That, however, is not the way of life you learned 21 when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. 22 You were taught, regarding your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

5 Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup;
you make my lot secure.
6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely, I have a delightful inheritance.

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

By now, God has pulled me back in and I’m beginning to SMILE at my STORM. I’m beginning to see the way clearer now. The gentleman and his daughter maneuver themselves to be in front of my car so that when my husband arrives he can give us a jump start because after sitting there for what seemed like an eternity, my battery is dead. A few seconds later my husband arrives with EVERYTHING in hand, thanks to the sweet couple that went back to get him. God told me to make sure that I bless them, which I did – COMPLETELY. As they are working on getting the car together a 3rd car pulls up to offer MORE help and I’m shonuff TALKING to my DADDY because He is showing me, that I GOT YOU COVERED!!!

The Dad gets the cables hooked up while my husband is putting gas in the tank. Once he’s done with that, I hit the switch and it cranks right up!!!! YYYYAAAAAYYY God!! Finally, everyone gets in their cars and we proceed to get off the interstate to the nearest auto parts store so we can find out what’s wrong. The Dad pulls us into another Chevron and my husband tells me to stop at a pump because all we need is gas. Well, I know you’re asking yourself, GAS?? Didn’t you stop and get that this morning??

What I failed to mention was at the gas station because I was so IN my feelings, I told them I didn’t need any help!! I could pump and pay for my OWN gas!! Well, that didn’t work out so well because the pump wasn’t cooperating!! It wouldn’t let me enter in any of my information so instead of pulling to another pump, I became so frustrated that I said whatever, got back in my car and drove off!! Now I’m reminded of a dream from last week of small foxes, the dream THAT I didn’t give my full attention too. Song of Solomon 2:15 tells us – Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom. Sometimes we think we are not in alignment for our blooming season but God has a way of showing us that we are RIGHT WHERE He needs us. And even in our PULL apart and COME apart moments, He will be there to guide us and help us to see that ALL THINGS are working for OUR good!! We are KING’S KIDS; thus, we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS!!
